Students at Halesowen College have raised the roof putting on three fantastic performances of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Audiences have given the show high praise with students showing off their singing and dancing talents. The performers, including staff and students, come from all levels and subject areas from across the college.
Different specialist areas came together to bring the show to life with young people studying textiles and fashion putting together the costumes, media students creating an in-house DVD and graphics students designing the promotional material for the extravaganza.
And Electric Stage, a Birmingham company which provides staging and event equipment, gave its services free of charge to set up a lighting gantry for the production.
Elizabeth Bridgland, Curriculum Team Manager for Music, Dance and Drama, said: "Our students and staff have worked really hard and become a true ensemble of performers.
"The show promotes everyone’s talents from on stage to backstage and has been a true learning experience for all involved.
"It has been a fantastic achievement and everyone should be really proud; they have worked closely as a team with lots of support from the College."
